Web checkout has not launched. Once available, our web order process will be conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle will be the merchant of record for orders completed through its checkout, provide billing customer service, and handle refunds. Lissin remains responsible for providing the software and product support.

Before any web purchase, the checkout will show the plan, included features, billing period, currency, applicable taxes, and total charge. These purchases will also be subject to Paddle's Buyer Terms. A subscription will renew for the stated period until cancelled. Any trial terms, conversion date, and subsequent charge will be shown before you accept the purchase.

Access will be linked to the Lissin account used for the purchase after payment and entitlement verification. Do not purchase a second subscription while an Apple subscription remains active unless you intend to pay for both. A web purchase will not cancel or replace an Apple subscription automatically.

For a Paddle purchase, manage or cancel renewal using the Manage subscription link in the confirmation email or through paddle.net. Cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current period. Refund requests follow our Refund Policy and Paddle's Refund Policy. Mandatory consumer rights continue to apply. These instructions do not apply to an Apple purchase.

This section states, in one place, the information Apple requires us to disclose about auto-renewable subscriptions. It is a summary of sections 4 to 8 below, which govern in full.

Titles, lengths, and prices

What each subscription provides during each billing period is set out in section 4 ("Subscriptions and Plans") below and is shown in the app before you subscribe. If an introductory offer or free trial is available to you, its exact length and price are shown on the purchase screen before you buy; introductory offers are limited to eligible new subscribers as determined by Apple.

Apple payment, renewal, and cancellation

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Your subscription automatically renews for the same period at the then-current price unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your Apple ID account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period, at the price listed in the table above for the plan you hold (or the then-current price, if it has changed and Apple has notified you as required).
• You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal at any time in your Apple ID Account Settings after purchase: open the Settings app, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, select Lissin, and follow the prompts. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep access to paid features until then.
• Any unused portion of a free trial period, where one is offered, is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, to the extent Apple permits.
• Purchases are final and non-refundable except where required by law. Because Apple bills you, refund requests go to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com — see section 8 below.

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use the Service, and old enough to form a binding contract with us. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Service only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is accurate.

Some features require an account. When you create one, you must provide accurate, complete, and current information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• Restricting access to your devices and account
• All activity that occurs under your account

Notify us promptly at hi@lissin.com if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account. We are not liable for any loss arising from unauthorized use of your account that results from your failure to safeguard your credentials.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use. This license does not transfer any ownership rights to you. You agree not to:

Unless a page states otherwise, the images, illustrations, and other visual materials we publish are protected by copyright and are not released for reuse under an open license. To ask about permission or a separate license, contact us at hi@lissin.com.

• Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Service except as expressly permitted
• Use the Service, or content generated through it, for any commercial purpose or public performance without our written permission
• Decompile, reverse engineer, or attempt to derive the source code of any part of the Service
• Remove, obscure, or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices
• Resell, rent, sublicense, or "mirror" any part of the Service, or share your account to circumvent subscription limits

The Service is offered through a free tier and optional paid subscriptions. Each plan unlocks different features and a weekly allowance of newly generated audio minutes. These are the services provided during each billing period, and they are also shown in the app before you subscribe:

• Explore (Free). Unlimited listening to the Explore catalogue, one starter personal show, 50 newly generated minutes per week, episodes up to 10 minutes, the basic soundscape catalogue, and standard playback speed. Document uploads and transcripts are not included.
• Lissin Plus. Everything in Free, plus additional personal shows, daily delivery schedules, 450 newly generated minutes per week, episodes up to 15 minutes, document uploads (up to 3 files per week, 20 MB each), personal remix, episode transcripts, the extended soundscape catalogue, and playback up to 1.5×.
• Lissin Pro. Everything in Plus, plus 1,800 newly generated minutes per week, episodes up to 25 minutes, larger source packs (up to 25 files per week, 25 MB each), source monitoring, advanced transcripts, creator export, the complete soundscape catalogue, playback up to 2×, and priority support.

Pricing. Each subscription is available on a weekly, monthly, or annual basis. Every title, length, and price we offer is listed in the Subscription Information table above. The price, billing period, and your local currency are also always shown in the Apple App Store and within the app before you confirm a purchase, and may change as described in the "Price Changes" section below.

Generation allowances. Each plan includes a weekly allowance of newly generated audio minutes, metered by the final published length of each episode and spent by both scheduled shows and one-off episodes. Failed or cancelled generations do not consume your allowance, and remixes draw from the same allowance as new generations. Allowances reset each week and do not roll over unless we state otherwise in the app. If you are on a free trial of a paid plan, the trial carries a single allowance for the whole trial window (200 generated minutes) rather than a weekly grant, and nothing rolls over into your first paid period. Allowances and limits may change; we will describe the current allowance in the app, and material reductions to a plan you already pay for will be notified in advance as described in section 19.

Purchases made inside the Lissin iPhone app are in-app purchases processed by Apple through the App Store and billed to your Apple ID account. We use RevenueCat, a subscription management provider, to configure our subscription products and confirm your entitlements; we do not receive or store your full payment card details (see our Privacy Policy).

• Your subscription automatically renews for the same period at the then-current price unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your Apple ID account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• If we offer a free or promotional trial and you do not cancel before it ends, it will automatically convert to a paid subscription and your Apple ID will be charged.
• Any unused portion of a free trial or promotional period is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where Apple permits.

Manage subscriptions with the seller on your receipt. For a future Paddle purchase, use the planned web cancellation route above. The following instructions apply to Apple.

Because App Store subscriptions are billed by Apple, you manage and cancel them through your Apple ID — not through your Lissin account settings. To cancel or change a plan, open the Settings app on your device, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, select Lissin, and follow the prompts. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access to paid features until then. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.

We may change subscription prices from time to time. If a price increase applies to your existing App Store subscription, Apple will notify you in accordance with App Store rules, and where required will ask for your consent before the new price takes effect. If you do not agree to a new price, you may cancel your subscription before it renews. Continued use of a paid plan after a price change takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the new price, subject to applicable law and the seller's required notice and consent process. Future web purchases will follow the price and renewal terms disclosed by Paddle at checkout and in its notices.

Our Refund Policy explains each purchase channel, cancellation, technical problems, and consumer rights. The following paragraph covers Apple purchases.

Except where required by applicable law, App Store purchases are final and non-refundable. Because your subscription is billed by Apple through the App Store, we are generally unable to issue refunds directly. To request a refund, submit a request to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com, which Apple reviews under its Media Services Terms and Conditions. Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable statutory refund or cancellation rights you may have under the consumer-protection laws of your country or region. If you believe you were charged in error, you may also contact us at hi@lissin.com and we will do our best to help.

The following applies when you download or use the Lissin app from the Apple App Store:

• These Terms are between you and The Audio Company Inc. only, and not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content.
• Your license to use the app is a non-transferable license to use it on any Apple-branded device you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service.
• Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for the app. Any support questions should be directed to us at the contact details below.
• To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no warranty obligation with respect to the app, and any claims relating to the app are governed by these Terms.
• Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims by you or a third party relating to the app, including product-liability, legal or regulatory, or intellectual-property claims.
• You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a terrorist-supporting country, and that you are not on any U.S. Government restricted-parties list.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

The Service lets you upload or provide documents, links, and other materials ("Input") and generates audio shows, transcripts, and summaries from them ("Output"). You are responsible for your Input, including having the necessary rights to it, and for how you use the Output. You must not provide Input that infringes others' rights or violates any law.

As between you and us, you retain your rights in your Input. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, and use your Input and Output solely to operate, secure, and improve the Service and to provide it to you. Output is generated by automated AI systems, may be inaccurate or incomplete, and is provided for your personal use; you are responsible for reviewing it before relying on it.

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by The Audio Company Inc. and are protected by copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual-property laws. The "Lissin" name and logo are trademarks of the Company and may not be used without our prior written permission.

You agree not to use the Service:

• In any way that violates any applicable law or regulation
• To exploit, harm, or attempt to exploit or harm minors
• To transmit unsolicited advertising or promotional material (spam)
• To impersonate or attempt to impersonate the Company, an employee, or another user
• To engage in any automated or bulk use of the Service, or to scrape or harvest data
• To interfere with, disrupt, or circumvent the security or rate limits of the Service
• To generate content that is unlawful, infringing, or that violates the policies of our third-party AI providers
• To request or provide medical diagnosis, treatment recommendations, medication or dosing instructions, or personalized weight-loss or muscle-building advice
• To request or provide investment recommendations, buy/hold/sell verdicts, trading signals, portfolio allocations, price targets presented as recommendations, or personalized financial advice
• To clone or impersonate a real person's voice or likeness without their explicit consent

Health, science, business, and market reporting may explain research, events, and attributed opinions for general education. It must not recommend a treatment or an investment action to the listener. Lissin is not a healthcare or financial advisory service. A disclaimer does not make a prohibited request permissible.

The Service relies on and links to third-party services — including the Apple App Store, RevenueCat, and our AI and infrastructure providers — and may let you connect third-party accounts (such as your email provider). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them. Connecting a third-party account is optional and you may disconnect it at any time.

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty that AI-generated Output will be accurate, complete, or reliable. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall The Audio Company Inc., nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or USD 100.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Audio Company Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your Input, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or of any law or the rights of a third party.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, without prior notice or liability, if you breach these Terms or if we reasonably believe it is necessary to protect the Service or other users. You may stop using the Service at any time; note that cancelling a paid subscription is done through the seller on your receipt as described above. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will survive.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. This governing law does not deprive you of the protection of any mandatory consumer-protection laws of the country in which you reside.

We may modify or replace these Terms from time to time. The updated version is indicated by the "Last updated" date above. If a change is material, we will provide reasonable notice — for example, by posting a notice in the app or on this page — before it takes effect. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
