The short answer
Describe a recurring show on model releases, evaluation results and inference tooling, ask it to lead with anything that changes how you would build something this week, and set it to run each weekday morning. Lissin researches the open web on each run and produces a ten-minute episode.
How to set it up
Ask for what changes your work
This field publishes more than anyone can read and most of it changes nothing. Add ‘lead with anything that would change a build or buy decision this week; mention the rest in one sentence or not at all’. Without that line you get a list of announcements.
Name the layer you work at
Serving infrastructure, evaluation, applied product engineering and research are four different briefings that share a vocabulary. Say which one you work in, or the show covers all four badly.
Ask for the disagreement
Ask ‘where do credible people disagree about this result’. You hear the open argument around a result, which a summary leaves out, and the episode stops sounding like a press release.

Questions
- Where does it get the material?
- Each time it runs, it researches publicly available sources on the subject you described. It does not read your inbox, your feed reader or anything behind a paywall.
- How current is it?
- It covers what was published before the run starts. An announcement made later that day is in the next morning’s episode.
- Can I stop it covering a subject I am tired of?
- Yes. Say so in the show description. ‘Skip funding rounds entirely’ works as an instruction just as a subject you ask for does.
What this does not do
It cannot read paywalled research or private Slack. It sometimes states something with more confidence than its source does, so check any benchmark number before you repeat it.
