An AI podcast generator for the show you want to hear

Name a topic, or paste notes and links. This AI podcast generator writes the episode and voices it, one speaker or two. On iPhone. A PDF needs Plus or Pro.

The short answer

This AI podcast generator starts with what you want to hear, or with links, notes or a document. Lissin researches it, writes a script for one or two voices, and records 5 to 25 minutes. Keep that one episode, or have the show come back daily, on weekdays, weekly or every two weeks.

How to do it

  1. Start with the question you want answered

A subject on its own gets you a general episode. A question gets you a point of view. "Was the printing press more disruptive than the internet? Two hosts, one on each side, ten minutes" tells Lissin what to research, how to frame it and how long to take. Lissin then researches the open web for that question before it writes anything.

  2. Add your own material if you have it

Paste up to 20 links, or paste your notes straight into the request. On a paid plan you can also upload PDF, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, EPUB, HTML, Markdown and text files, or images, within your plan's weekly file allowance. Say whether the episode should stick to what you supplied or use it as a starting point for wider research.

  3. Choose how it sounds

Pick one narrator or two speakers, the voice, the language and the tone: calm, conversational, skeptical, playful. An editorial lens such as a debate or a practical breakdown changes what the script notices, not only how it is read. Lissin writes in 25 languages, including Spanish, Hindi, French, German and Japanese.

  4. Make it once, or make it a show

A one-time episode plays in the app, or from a share link in any browser. A recurring show remembers what it has covered, researches again before each episode and arrives at the time you set. If an episode is not quite right, describe the change and remix it on Plus or Pro.

  5. Create a podcast with AI from notes you've got

Paste them on any plan. The box holds 8,000 characters, and your instructions count toward that. The free plan is one starter show, 50 minutes a week, episodes up to 10 minutes. If the notes are a PDF, that's an upload: Plus is 3 files a week, Pro is 25. If you're studying, ask it to explain each topic, then ask you a few questions.

Questions

Is there a free AI podcast generator in Lissin?
Yes. The free plan makes one starter show with 50 minutes of audio a week and episodes up to 10 minutes. Uploading files, longer episodes and daily delivery come with Plus or Pro.
How is this different from NotebookLM's Audio Overviews?
NotebookLM discusses the sources you add to a notebook. Lissin can work from your sources too, but it can also research a subject on its own, run as a show that comes back on a schedule, and take a story, debate or song format. Our NotebookLM comparison covers where each one is the better choice.
Can I publish the podcast to Spotify or Apple Podcasts?
Not directly. Lissin has no RSS feed. You can share any episode as a web link that plays without an account, and the Pro plan includes an audio export.
Can I make it from a PDF or my class notes?
Paste the notes on any plan. A PDF, a deck or another file is an upload, so it needs Plus (3 a week) or Pro (25). If the notes are for a class, the lecture-notes page goes further.
Is this an AI podcast maker?
Yes. An AI podcast creator is the same screen. You describe the episode, or you paste notes, links or a file, and Lissin writes it and voices it. One episode, or a show that comes back on a schedule.

What this does not do

You create shows in the iPhone app, which needs iOS 26 or later. The web player only plays them. An episode has at most two speakers, and there is no RSS feed for podcast directories. The script interprets your material rather than reading it out, so check names, dates and figures against the original before you repeat them. A link behind a login or paywall cannot be read, and an episode that depends on one fails rather than guessing.

Make your own show, or hear a sample

Make a show from your topic or documents in the Lissin iPhone app (iOS 26 or later). Or listen to public shows in the web player without installing the app.
