The adult human brain creates around seven hundred new neurons every single day. Right in the hippocampus—the center of learning and memory. In episode eighty-one, we talked about grounding your affirmations in the real world around you. Today, we ground them in the real world inside you. In the simple, biological fact that you are built to change, to adapt, to learn. Not just when you were a child, but right now. This morning. So let’s start there. With that quiet, constant, cellular hum of becoming. Take a breath.

Let these words land. My mind is not a library of facts. It is a living garden. Think about that. Not a static place where you store what you already know, but a dynamic place where things grow. Some things flourish. Some things wither and need to be pruned away. You don’t judge a garden for having weeds. You just tend to it. Today, you are the gardener. You get to decide what you water, what you nurture, and what you gently pull out to make space for something new. You are not defending a fortress of old beliefs. You are cultivating a landscape of new understanding.

Hold that thought. And let this next one in. I give myself permission to be a beginner. Somewhere along the way, you learned that not knowing was a weakness. That you had to show up with the answer, fully formed. That’s a lie. The most powerful people are the ones who are willing to say “I don’t know… yet.” Being a beginner isn’t a deficit. It’s a superpower. It’s the freedom to be curious, to ask stupid questions, to see with fresh eyes. Today, you will encounter something you don’t understand. A problem you haven’t solved before.

Instead of tensing up, I want you to soften. And say to yourself: good. Here is my chance to learn. Your value is not in having all the answers. It’s in your courage to look for them. Now, for the hard part. The part we all resist. A mistake is not a judgment. It is just data. When you get something wrong, your first instinct is shame. The heat rises in your face. The inner critic starts its monologue. But a mistake is not a verdict on your worth. It’s a signpost. It’s a piece of information that says, “Hey. The path isn’t over here.

Try over there.” That’s it. It’s not personal. It’s navigational. Today, when you misstep—and you will, because learning involves missteps—I want you to do one thing. I want you to say, silently or out loud: “Information received.” That’s all. You don’t have to beat yourself up. You just have to adjust your course. You are a pilot, not a passenger. Use the data to fly better. Finally, this. And this one might be the most important. I have the strength to change my mind. To let go of an old idea when a better one arrives is not a sign of weakness.

It is the ultimate sign of strength. It proves that your loyalty is to the truth, not to your ego. Your beliefs are not statues carved in stone. They are living things. They need to breathe. They need to evolve as you evolve. Clinging to an outdated idea because you’ve held it for a long time is like refusing to take off a coat in the summer just because it kept you warm in the winter. Today, you might learn something that contradicts what you thought yesterday. Good. That means you’re growing. It means you’re paying attention.

The world wants to put you in a box. To give you a label, a title, a fixed identity. It’s simpler that way. But you know the truth. You are not a noun. You are a verb. You are learning. You are adapting. You are becoming. You are in motion. And right there, in that motion, is where all your power lives.
