Just six minutes a day. That's it. For thirty days, that is all the time it takes to measurably increase your own resilience. In our last episode, we talked about using gratitude affirmations to find calm and self-possession. Today is different. Today is about finding your footing when the ground beneath you feels like it's shaking. This is about strength. Not the loud, brittle kind. The quiet, deep kind that holds. So. Before we begin, one rule. You have to say these out loud. Whispering is fine.

But your ears need to hear your own voice claim these things as true. It’s a habit, like brushing your teeth, and it works because it rewires the pathways in your brain. You are giving your mind a new direction to travel. A better one. Find a mirror if you can. Look yourself in the eye. Take a breath. Let’s begin. The first affirmation is about evidence. We often think strength is something we have to invent from scratch. It isn't. You already have proof. So, say this with me. I have a one hundred percent success rate at surviving my worst days.

Every challenge I thought would break me, didn't. My past is not a source of pain, but a library of evidence. Evidence of my own resilience. I am not starting from zero. I am starting from experience. Feel that. It’s not an opinion. It’s a fact. You are still here. That is the only data point that matters. The second one is for when you feel stuck. When the obstacle in front of you feels like a concrete wall. It's not. It's a door. This difficulty is an opportunity. It is not here to stop me, but to teach me.

I am not afraid of what it takes to grow. Every challenge I face sharpens my strength and deepens my wisdom. I am walking through this door, now. It changes everything when you stop seeing a challenge as an endpoint and start seeing it as a process. A transition. You are in the middle of becoming stronger. Okay. The third affirmation is for when your mind is loud with doubt and fear. There is another voice inside you. It's just quieter. Today, we turn up the volume on that voice. There is a quiet, steady part of me that knows the way.

I trust my inner wisdom more than I trust my fear. Today, I will listen for that calm, centered voice and let it guide my choices. My intuition is my power. Doubt shouts. Your inner strength speaks. You just have to get quiet enough to hear it. The fourth one is about permission. Strength isn't about being numb. It's not about pretending you don't feel hurt or overwhelmed. Real strength includes the courage to feel. I give myself permission to feel this, fully, without judgment. My strength is not in avoiding the storm, but in navigating it.

I can hold both my struggle and my power at the same time. I am healing even as I hurt. You don't have to rise above it. You just have to move through it. That is what rising IS. And finally, the fifth one. This is about agency. You are not a passive observer of your life. You are not just surviving. You are choosing. I am the one who decides. I am not defined by my circumstances, but by my responses. With every breath, I choose courage. With every action, I build my own strength. I am the author of my own becoming.

You are. Right now. In this moment. You are choosing. These aren't magic words. They are tools. They are the work. Strength isn't a destination you arrive at one day, suddenly feeling invincible. It's not a feeling at all. It's an action. It's a choice you make when you'd rather do anything else. It's the step you take right now. And the one after that. The work is not to feel strong. The work is to act. And you just did.
