The pundits on the cable news all drew their battle lines, Dissecting every gesture, reading tea leaves in the signs! Oh, it's another Friday, and the curtain's set to fall! Another week of madness here inside the Beltway brawl! We sing and dance the talking points, we hit our marks with flair, While screaming to the heavens, 'Do you see what's happening there?!'
It's the greatest, worstest show on Earth, a tragic, comic spree, And we can't believe we're paid to do this choreography! By Wednesday, Tuesday's outrage was a distant, foggy dream, Replaced by leaked audio, a truly wild extreme. A gaffe upon the teleprompter, a stumble on the stair, Became the only story that was filling up the air.
