Welcome. Settle into this quiet moment at the end of your day. Last time, we practiced letting go. Tonight, we invite that same release to travel deeper, into the body itself. Allowing everything to soften. Let your awareness find your breath. There is no need to change anything at all. Simply notice its gentle rhythm.
The soft expansion of the inhale. The quiet release of the exhale. Each breath is a small wave… washing away the day. With every exhale, feel a little more weight release. A little more tension dissolve into the air. Now, allow this gentle awareness to move through your body. Begin at the very top of your head… feeling a sense of ease spread downwards.
Softening your forehead… the space around your eyes. Allow your jaw to unclench… your tongue to rest. Let this feeling of release flow down your neck… and melt into your shoulders. Letting them drop, releasing whatever they have held today. Down through your arms… your elbows… your wrists… all the way to the tips of your fingers.
Noticing the weight of your torso… sinking… heavy and supported. Feeling your hips soften and open. And now down through the length of your legs… your knees… your ankles… and into your feet. And now… simply rest in this stillness. This quiet space beneath thought. There is nothing to do. Nowhere to go.
Just this moment. Aware of the gentle hum of your body at peace. Feeling the wholeness of your being. Floating here… held and safe. Drifting. There is no need to come back from this place. If sleep is near, allow yourself to drift into it. Let this feeling of peace carry you into your dreams. May your rest be deep and restorative.
Goodnight.
