There are more than six hundred muscles in the human body. In our last session together, we practiced letting go of the day's weight. Tonight, Admin, we'll invite that release into every one of those places... letting go of tension, muscle by muscle. So let's begin. Find a position that feels comfortable and supported.

Lying down, if that feels right for you. Allowing the eyes to close, whenever you're ready. Just bringing your awareness to your breath. Not changing anything at all. Simply noticing the gentle rise... and fall... of your chest or belly. In... and out. Each breath, an invitation to arrive right here. Now, bring your attention all the way down to your feet.

On your next inhale, gently curl your toes, squeezing the muscles in your feet. Just enough to feel the tension. Hold it here. And as you exhale, release. Let all that tension dissolve. Feel the warmth and softness that follows. Now, allowing that awareness to travel up into your lower legs. Inhale, and gently point your toes, tensing your calf muscles.

Holding that tightness for just a moment. And now... exhale and let it all go. A wave of release washing through your calves. Moving up now, into your thighs. On an inhale, squeeze the large muscles in your thighs, as if you're pressing them down into the surface beneath you. Feel that energy. Hold. And with your exhale, release completely.

Noticing your legs feel heavy... supported... and deeply relaxed. Bring your awareness now to your hips and your seat. Gently clench these muscles. Holding the tension. And then... release. Letting go. Sinking deeper into stillness. Now, let your awareness rest on your stomach and lower back. On your next inhale, gently tighten your abdominal muscles.

Feel them firm for a moment. And as you breathe out, let them soften completely. A deep sense of release in the core of your body. Moving up to your hands and arms. Gently make fists with your hands, and feel that tension travel up your arms. Hold. And with an exhale, let the fingers uncurl... let the arms go limp...

feeling heavy and relaxed. Now, your shoulders. We hold so much here. On an inhale, draw your shoulders up toward your ears. Squeeze. And with a sigh, let them drop. Feel the space you've created. For the neck, be very gentle. Simply press the back of your head lightly into the surface beneath you... creating just a little resistance.

Hold. And release. Allowing the neck to be long and free. Finally, bring your awareness to your face. Squeeze all the muscles here. Clench your jaw, squint your eyes, furrow your brow. Hold this tiny ball of energy. And with a full exhale... let it all melt away. Let the jaw be slack... the space between your eyebrows smooth.

And now... just be still. Feel the weight of your entire body. Heavy, soft, and at ease. Notice the gentle tingling... the warmth... the deep sense of peace that you've cultivated. There is nothing to do. Nowhere to be. Your body is at rest. Your mind can be at rest, too. Just allow the breath to breathe itself.

If thoughts come, let them drift by like clouds in a quiet night sky. You have done the work of letting go. Now... simply rest. Rest.
