How to do it
Redact before you upload
Meeting notes contain other people’s words, salaries, customer names and half-formed opinions. Take out what should not leave the room, whichever tool you use next.
Export as DOCX or PDF
Most transcription tools export both. DOCX keeps speaker labels as structure, which lets the script attribute positions to people rather than flattening a debate into consensus.
Ask for decisions and disagreements
Ask ‘what was decided, what was left open, and where did people disagree’. A generic summary of five meetings produces five vague paragraphs. This prompt gives you something to act on before the next meeting.

Questions
- Does Lissin join or record meetings?
- No. It has no calendar access, no meeting bot and no recording capability. It reads notes and transcripts you have already produced and uploaded.
- Is it safe to upload internal notes?
- An upload sends the file to an external service, so treat it that way. Redact accordingly, and check your own organisation’s policy before uploading anything about identifiable people.
- Can it be a recurring weekly catch-up?
- Not from files. Each upload is a one-off, so you would upload each week. A recurring show works from a described subject, not from files, so the weekly upload stays a manual step.
What this does not do
Automatic transcripts misattribute speakers and mishear names, and anything wrong in the transcript is wrong in the audio with more confidence than it deserves. Tone does not survive either: a joke and a commitment read identically in a transcript.
