Turn a reading backlog into an audio show
Paste the links from your read-later backlog or upload a highlights export, and Lissin makes one audio episode about what the saved articles share.
The short answer
Export the saved articles or save them as HTML or PDF, upload them together, and ask what connects them. A read-later queue is often forty tabs on one recurring interest, and one episode about that interest is more useful than forty narrations.
How to do it
Get the articles out of wherever they are
Most read-later tools export a list of URLs rather than the text, which is fine: paste the links you still care about straight in and Lissin fetches them. Lissin cannot reach anything paywalled or behind a login, so save those with Save Page As or print them to PDF.
Upload highlights instead, if you have them
A highlights export, such as Kindle’s My Clippings, a Readwise export or anything else that produces a document, is a better input than the articles. It holds only the parts you marked as mattering.
Ask what the pile is about
Ask ‘what do these have in common, where do they contradict each other, and what am I apparently trying to work out’. The episode describes what your saved reading keeps returning to, which none of the articles says on its own.

Questions
- Can Lissin connect to Pocket, Instapaper or Readwise?
- No. There is no integration with any read-later service, so nothing syncs on its own. Paste the article links straight in, or upload a highlights export. You still move the queue across by hand.
- What if the export is just a list of links?
- Paste them in and Lissin fetches each page. Save the ones it cannot reach, paywalled or behind a login, as HTML instead.
- How many articles is too many?
- Past about a dozen, a synthesis stops being able to say anything specific about any of them. Batch by theme rather than by date and you get several good episodes instead of one vague one.
What this does not do
Lissin has no read-later integration, so nothing syncs. You move your own queue across by hand, a batch at a time, and paywalled pieces cannot be fetched or saved in full.
