The strongest people you know aren't the ones who never fall. They're the ones who get up, bruised, and have the courage to say “that hurt.” In our last conversation, episode 102, we talked about grounding your day in five specific truths. Today is about a different kind of truth—the one you find not by being flawless, but by being brave enough to be unfinished. So, here are five affirmations for the part of you that is beautifully, powerfully, a work in progress. Say them with me. Feel them land. First. My imperfections are not mistakes. They are my history. Think of a favorite coffee mug, the one with a hairline crack from that time it was dropped.

You don't throw it out. It's YOURS. That crack is part of its story. Your story is written on you in the same way. The scar, the misstep, the time you were wrong. These are not signs of failure. They are proof of life. They are evidence that you have risked, and loved, and tried. So today, you will not hide them. You will see them for what they are: the map of a life fully lived. That map is yours. And it is leading you somewhere. Second. Asking for help is an act of strategic intelligence. There's a story you’ve been told that says you have to do it all alone. That asking for help is a sign of weakness.

That story is a lie. A general does not fight a battle alone; they command an army. A climber does not summit a mountain alone; they are tied to a team. Admitting you don't have the answer, or the strength, or the resources for this next step is not a surrender. It is the single smartest move you can make. It’s inviting an ally onto the field. Today, you will be a brilliant strategist. You will see the battlefield clearly, and you will call for exactly the support you need. Third. I am not a final draft. I am a discovery. You are not a statue in a museum, finished and polished and behind a velvet rope.

You are the block of marble, and the sculptor, and the chisel—all at once. There will be days where all you do is chip away one rough edge. Days where you feel like a mess of dust and noise. That is not the final state. That is the PROCESS. You are not failing; you are becoming. Today, you will give yourself permission to be in motion. You will not judge the chisel marks or the pieces on the floor. You will simply be the marble, in the middle of a masterpiece. Fourth. I release the weight of being right. How much energy have you spent defending a position? Proving a point?

Winning an argument that didn't matter an hour later? That is heavy. It is a weight you are choosing to carry. Imagine putting that weight down. Just for today. The need to have the perfect answer, the need to control the outcome, the need to manage everyone's perception of you. Let it go. What happens when your hands are empty? They become ready. Ready for what is actually coming. Ready to build something new. Today, your strength isn't in holding on. It's in letting go. And fifth. The most important one. I will speak to myself with the kindness I reserve for my dearest friend.

Think of someone you love who is struggling. What would you say to them? You wouldn't list their failures. You wouldn't tell them they weren't good enough. You would offer them grace. You would remind them of their strength. You would look them in the eye and tell them they are loved. You deserve that same voice. Today, that voice belongs to you. No exceptions. No caveats. That relentless, compassionate, unwavering kindness—it starts now. It is the fuel for everything else. Perfection is a ghost. A static, lifeless thing in a quiet room. But you... you are dynamic. You are in motion.

You are learning. The goal was never to be flawless. The goal was to be WHOLE. And you are getting there.
