A Formula 1 news podcast for the morning after the race
Set a weekly F1 show for the morning after the race. Lissin reads published race reports and news, then writes a spoken recap on the teams and drivers you follow.
The short answer
Ask Lissin for a weekly Formula 1 show: "every Monday at 8, the weekend's qualifying and race, how the championship gaps moved, then the week's team and driver news, with extra on McLaren". Before each episode it searches published race reports and news, writes a spoken recap and lists its sources. It does not follow sessions live.
How to set it up
Schedule it for after you have watched
The episode states results, so set it for after you will have seen the race. If you watch a replay on Sunday evening, set it for Monday morning. A show runs on the schedule you choose, not on the race calendar.
Say whose season you follow
Name a team, a driver or a subject such as the engine rules. "Everything on Williams and its drivers, a short note on the rest of the grid, no transfer gossip" keeps most of the episode on that team.
Ask for the why behind the result
Results tables do not work in audio. Ask for the reasons: "explain each strategy call that changed the order, and any penalty, in plain terms".
Decide what an off week is for
A weekly show still runs in a week with no race. Tell it what to do then: a preview of the next circuit, testing news, contract stories or a look back at a past race at the same track.

Questions
- Is this an official Formula 1 podcast?
- No. Lissin is not connected to Formula 1, the FIA or any team. It reads what is published on the web, as you would in a browser.
- Will it spoil the race?
- Yes, if it arrives before you watch. It states the result plainly, so schedule it for after you will have seen the race.
- Can it cover MotoGP, IndyCar or Formula E instead?
- Yes. Name the series in the request the same way. Coverage depends on how much is published about it, so a smaller series gives a shorter or thinner episode.
What this does not do
It works from reports published before the episode is made, so it cannot follow a session live or catch a stewards' decision announced later. It runs on a fixed schedule rather than the race calendar, so check the time each race weekend. Early reports sometimes get positions or points wrong, and the episode can repeat that, so check against the official classification. Creating a show needs an iPhone on iOS 26 or later, and daily delivery needs a paid plan.
